Self Love

Live Well Studio (now the Live Well Project) is a new concept of store, providing coffee and crystals, with a downstairs studio space opening up. Sesame was tasked with creating a window drawing to cover both windows with the theme of “Self Love”, in time for Valentine’s Day, and to spread the message thereafter. This was our first drawing for Live Well in February 2022 and we’ve been doing them ever since.
Creating the design
Using the term “self love”, we initially started with concepts which were sent over to Live Well to choose from. When starting out with a new store, we find it best to provide concepts in advance to make sure they are happy prior to beginning the artwork.
On the day, the drawing was drawn directly on the inside of the windows (including the lettering!). Live Well chose to have the illustration on the inside of the windows to avoid any damage or wear and tear happening on the outside. The designs looked strong from both the inside and outside of the shop, and the use of lines within the illustration cast incredible shadows onto the inside of the shop. This stayed perfectly on the windows until it was washed off ready for us to give them a new design which you can see here.
